\u00e9 uma mistura gasosa composta essencialmente de metano e em quantidades muito menores de outros hidrocarbonetos. Pequenas quantidades de gases inertes, como nitrog\u00e9nio e di\u00f3xido de carbono, podem estar presentes na mistura. \u00c9 extra\u00eddo a partir de dep\u00f3sitos no subsolo em profundidades diferentes (at\u00e9 v\u00e1rios milhares de metros), em que est\u00e1 presente, por si s\u00f3 ou com outros hidrocarbonetos, a partir do qual ele \u00e9 separado de extrac\u00e7\u00e3o. Se necess\u00e1rio, ele \u00e9 filtrado e em seguida, alimentado na rede de tubula\u00e7\u00f5es, pronto para uso sem tratamento adicional. Seu peso espec\u00edfico dependendo da origem varia na faixa: ~ 0,7 \u00f7 0,8 kg \/ Nm\u00b3. O peso espec\u00edfico do ar \u00e9 de cerca de 1,3 kg\/Nm\u00b3, e em seguida, o g\u00e1s natural \u00e9 muito mais leve do que o ar, e esta \u00e9 uma vantagem porque em caso de fuga ir\u00e1 dissipar facilmente nas camadas superiores da atmosfera, sem causar estagna\u00e7\u00e3o no ch\u00e3o. O valor calor\u00edfico do g\u00e1s natural em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com medidor cubo gasoso, varia no campo: 33-38 MJ, em seguida, o valor m\u00e9dio \u00e9 de cerca de 36 MJ \/ pesados, o GNL \u00e9 armazenado a baixa press\u00e3o em tanques isolados termicamente e com capacidades que podem variar entre 174 a 511 litros.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">O GNL \u00e9 armazenado em estado l\u00edquido \u00e0 temperatura de evapora\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>No caso da \u00e1gua em ebuli\u00e7\u00e3o (100\u00baC), a temperatura mant\u00e9m-se constante durante a mudan\u00e7a da fase l\u00edquida para gasosa, mesmo que se continue a fornecer calor. Isto acontece devido \u00e0 evapora\u00e7\u00e3o.&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">De forma an\u00e1loga, o GNL mant\u00e9m-se praticamente \u00e0 temperatura constante (-162\u00baC) se for mantido a uma mesma press\u00e3o, e desde que o vapor (g\u00e1s natural na fase gasosa) seja libertado do reservat\u00f3rio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Assim sendo, o sistema de combust\u00edvel de um ve\u00edculo a GNL \u00e9 constitu\u00eddo, fundamentalmente, por um reservat\u00f3rio, um vaporizador em que o flu\u00eddo secund\u00e1rio \u00e9 o&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">l\u00edquido de refrigera\u00e7\u00e3o do motor, e um indicador de n\u00edvel do reservat\u00f3rio.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">O sistema est\u00e1 configurado para receber e armazenar GNL, e fornec\u00ea-lo ao motor na forma gasosa.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
